Players AND Families join us at Springdale Field to kick off the season. Come out to meet the coaches, players, and other families. Leesville Taproom will be on site to offer $8 meal deals of either 2 hotdogs, a hamburger, a cheeseburger or a bean burger along with chips and a drink.  Lucky Cart Dessert truck will be selling dessert. There will  be corn hole, volleyball, Spike ball, music, raffles, fan gear sales, and more!

Parking

There will be a small amount of parking on the grass field at Springdale. This is first come, first serve between Football Families and members of Springdale.  There will be overflow parking for our event at the Food Lion shopping center, specifically behind the Food Lion as well as on the side of the plaza by Ace Hardware.  There is also street parking behind the courts and on the street down from the field. Please see this link for parking options. We STRONGLY encourage you to ride together with your family to limit the number of cars.

What to Bring

Bring lawn chairs/picnic blankets, tent for extra shade, lawn games, school supply donations, money for food or your own picnic dinner, extra drinks (NO alcoholic beverages allowed), CASH if you would like to enter into the raffle to win a retired Leesville Helmet or Jersey. Hess Designs will be on site with samples of 2023 Player Gear and Football Fan Gear. You can get a preview of these on the website, but players should not order until jersey numbers are finalized.  

School Supply Collection

At the event, we are collecting school supplies for Tools4Schools, a free classroom supply store for WCPSS teachers sponsored by the WakeEd Partnership! Families can bring items from the Supply Drive Wish List that night OR donate through the Tools4Schools Amazon Wishlist or their online donation page.

Most-needed items include:

o Crayola Crayons, Colored Pencils, Pens, Sharpies, Highlighters, & Crayola Markers

o Pocket Folders, Spiral Notebooks, & Composition Books

o Construction Paper, Post-It Notes, Easel Pads, & Index Cards

o Hand Sanitizer, Clorox Wipes, Scissors, Glue Sticks, Pencil Sharpeners, & Tissues
